Reading Baseball School Staff

The Reading Baseball School has a talented and experienced staff of coaches. We congratulate some of our coaches for recent achievements:

Scott Farris has been an assistant varsity baseball coach for Reading High School for 15 years and has been named the Massachusetts Baseball Coaches Association Assistant Coach of the Year for 2009. Coach Ted Bryson received this same prestigious award in 2002.

Steve Langone was recently named to the position of Advanced Scouting Coordinator for the Boston Red Sox. This means he is the head of the entire Advanced Scouting Department! Steve is a Reading HS and Boston College Hall of Fame member who played seven years of professional baseball, primarily in the Dodgers organization. Steve pitched successfully at all minor league levels, working all the way to the AAA level.
